The RKSport 97-04 C5 Corvette High Rise Hood was designed by the same engineers who designed the C5 for Chevrolet. The hood was a result of the unbridled vision of what the engineers originally wanted for the C5, Retaining the original hood lines, the C5 High Rise hood gradually gains altitude until it reaches a full 1.75". at the windshield. This produces a much more aggressive demeanor for the C5. Each RKSport fiberglass hood is manufactured using the finest hand-laid fiberglass to provide superior strength and durability. Each hood is shipped gelcoat gray, ready for prep and paint. Detailed instructions provide a straight-forward installation that uses stock hardware for an easy fit and installation.
