CNC machined to an unheard of .001 tolerance (the industry standard is .010), this flywheel is designed to have perfect balance and the best surface for bedding with the new clutch, and is also SFI certified.The steel SPEC units are rebuildable and feature a replaceable steel friction plate that is made from a friction-enhancing steel metal specially formulated for optimum clutch bedding and holding power, so this just might be the last flywheel you will ever have to buy!This SPEC Billet Steel Flywheel is designed for the Mustang GT's with a six bolt main. 2001 Mustangs with production date after 01/01 have a six bolt main. Please check with your Ford dealer to determine if you have a 6 bolt or an 8 bolt main.
